Het boeddhisme heeft ook haar aanhangers in de Filipijnen , maar samen met het animisme is dit slechts procent van de bevolking. Filippijnse vrouwen zijn met klassieke normen en waarden opgevoed en zijn dus echte gezinsvrouwen. Aziatische vrouwen zijn niet lui aangelegd en hun Aziatische kook kunsten mogen ook genoemd worden.

Normen en waarden zijn de omgangsvormen en principes volgens welke men publiekelijk en in sociaal verband handelt. Vaak worden de termen in de politiek en de media als één enkel containerbegrip aangedui of onterecht als synoniemen door elkaar gebruikt. De Filipijnen is een wereld apart. Niet alleen omdat het ver weg ligt van de rest van Zuid-Oost Azië maar ook qua cultuur en tradities. Het land wordt overspoeld door Katholieken, een gevolg van de 3jaar dat Spanje het hier voor het zeggen had.

Veel mensen gebruiken de begrippen normen en waarden zonder dat ze het verschil tussen normen en waarden precies kunnen aangeven. Indonesische tijd die is echt vrij ontspannend. Jongere mensen tonen hun respect door je hand te nemen en hun voorhoofd ( ” Salim ” ) te raken.

De normen-en-waardencrisis in Azië Cultuur draagt wezenlijk bij aan financiële malaise in het Verre Oosten. Nu dat succes wat tegen blijkt te vallen, blijft het stil aan de andere kant. Op zoek naar de liefde, goedkoop leven en andere normen en waarden dan in Nederland.

Gevangenissen nederland
